Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. UK orders over £35 qualify for free standard shipping. Orders under £35 have a small standard shipping charge.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at the moment. To keep fulfilment simple while we launch the new store, we currently ship to UK addresses only.
What are the tiles made from?
The tiles are laser-cut EVA foam designed for practical tabletop RPG use.
Can I paint the tiles?
Yes. The EVA foam surface is designed for practical tabletop use and can be customised using standard acrylic paints.
Do I need to paint them?
No! They work perfectly well unpainted. However, they’re specifically designed to take paint beautifully with minimal effort.
How many tiles come in a set?
Our square tile set contains 108 precision-cut EVA foam tiles, each one is 2-inch square, perfectly fitting the majority of miniatures on the market for 5e tabletop gaming. Our Hexagon tile set contains 126 precision-cut EVA foam tiles.
How durable are they?
Very! Made from 5mm EVA foam, they’re resistant to tearing and can handle being packed away between game sessions without damage for many years.
How do they connect?
Each tile features an interlocking design that holds tiles firmly together during play but separates easily for storage and reconfiguration.
Are they compatible with other terrain systems?
Yes! We’ve designed them to work seamlessly with most 25-32mm scale miniatures and terrain accessories.
What’s the shipping timeframe?
Packages are dispatched within 48 hours of ordering. UK Shipping usually takes 2-3 days. International shipping (coming soon) will typically take 10-14 days.
Can I buy expansions later?
Absolutely! We already have plans for several expansion sets!
How much table space do I need?
The base set can create dungeons covering approximately 4′ × 4′ of table space when fully deployed. However, the beauty of the system is that you can build as you go, revealing only the sections your players have discovered.
What’s the difference between Mythical Realms tiles and other dungeon terrain?
Unlike plastic or resin alternatives, our EVA foam tiles are silent during play (no more plastic clattering), offer superior grip for miniatures, and are significantly more affordable. Compared to other foam options, our precision laser-cutting ensures consistent connections and perfect fit every time.
Can I mix and match sets to create larger dungeons?
Absolutely! The system is designed for unlimited expansion. Multiple base sets can connect seamlessly, and all future expansion packs will maintain full compatibility.
What paint do you recommend?
Any acrylic paint works well, but we find Tyges Flexi Paint provides excellent coverage.
Do you offer bulk discounts for game clubs or stores?
Yes! Game clubs ordering 5+ sets receive a 15% discount, while FLGS (Friendly Local Game Stores) can contact us for wholesale pricing.
Are these suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! If you can play a tabletop RPG, you can assemble these tiles. No special skills required for basic use, and even painting them is straightforward with our included guides.
